Beyond Booch: Fermented Probiotic Beverage Workshop

You’ve got your home kombucha brewing going strong. Want to take it to the next level? In this workshop which builds on the “Kombucha 101” material, We will:

 

– Discuss additional fermented beverages such as ginger bugs, water kefir, and even the vegetable tonics known as “kvass”

– Show you techniques for crafting mildly alcoholic, but still probiotic brews

– TASTE various probiotic beverages

– DO: You’ll get to start your own batch of water kefir

– TAKE HOME: Provide you with a water kefir starer culture so you can start making your own at home

 

Here is what is included in the two options:

Class and Kit:

– 2 Gallon Ceramic Beverage Brewer with Bottling spigot

– All ingredients (organic tea and sugar) for a 1 gallon starter batch

– Water Kefir Grains (SCOBY)

– A 16oz bottle of water kefir that you will flavor in class with seasonal fruits and herbs

– Tasters of water kefir, kvass, and mildly alcoholic beverages

2 gal. Ceramic Brewer included in Class and Kit option

Class Only:
